WINBUILD 1000

Powerful Application Software for Windows™
Mouse-driven simplicity is what WinBuild® is all about.  Eason Technology's WinBuild greatly simplifies the development of 1000 Series programs.  Using a menu-driven and/or "button" approach, you can define how the screens will look in your application.

WinBuild adds features not available in the Builder for DOS.  Being mouse-driven makes working with WinBuild easier than ever.  A powerful help system includes the entire basic manual, with programming examples, in a context sensitive hypertext format.

Double clicking on a soft key in the simulated 1000 Series' screens takes you to the location your code designated by that soft key.  Manipulated objects or text by dragging and dropping items via the mouse.

Displaying information, prompting operators for input, and defining soft function keys for moving about in your program become simple when using this user-friendly application software.

Application Software Features & Capabilities:
  • Uses "pseudocode" to easily create programs
  • Automatically generates BASIC Code and checks syntax
  • Label & define soft-keys
  • Includes Editor and Terminal Emulator
  • Manipulate I/O
  • Simulated screen allows easy on-screen editing
  • View all graphic items

Easy Programming... Mouse-Driven Simplicity

Defining Your Application is Simple with WinBuild

WinBuild is a menu-driven system allowing you to define the screens in your application.  You can specify how the screen will function - as a display screen, an operator prompt, etc., and how to get from screen to screen to perform more functions.  WinBuild then generates the BASIC code to run the 1000 Series.

Using WinBuild you can:

  • Place text on the screen
  • Label & define soft keys
  • Communicate with devices
  • Manipulate I/O
  • Set up interrupts
  • Set up operator entry

Since your control program is defined by "pseudocodes," it is a much easier task to define a sequence of operations than programming in BASIC.   Pseudocodes are easily selected from an extensive menu of options.  All screen interaction is shown on a simulated screen in the lower left hand corner of your PC screen.  You actually type what you want on the screen on your PC.  The appropriate pseudocodes are automatically generated by WinBuild.  Once you are satisfied with your program, simply press a function key to generate the BASIC that runs the interface unit.
